Accommodation

Luxor

Luxor is famous for its Temples and nearby Valley of the Kings.  The Luxor Temple lies on the east bank of the Nile, earliest parts of the Temple date back to 14th Century BC.

You can visit one of the many Alabaster factories and watch the locals carve pots.

The aroma of the markets are mouth watering with the colourful spices and herbs on offer.

Visit the Bazaar at night and feel the pulse of the city's real life, this is a great place to buy your true Egyptian Souvenirs.

In Luxor you are really spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out.  You can have anything from traditional Egyptian to Italian.  You can be romantic and dine on the Nile.  The Koshary is a must, this is a typical Egyptian dish that must be tried.  It is made up from pasta, rice, lentils, chick peas, onion, garlic and chilli sauce.
